Frequently asked questions about using Gamplo.
Account
How do I create an account?
Go to the sign up page and enter your email, a username (3–20 characters), and a password. You'll receive a verification code via email to confirm your account.
I didn't receive my verification email.
Check your spam or junk folder. Verification emails are sent from [email protected]. If it still doesn't arrive, wait a few minutes and try again — there is a rate limit of 5 emails per 15 minutes.
How do I reset my password?
Go to the forgot password page and enter your email. You'll receive a link to set a new password.
Can I change my username?
No, usernames are permanent and cannot be changed after registration. Your display name can be changed anytime in Settings.
How do I change my avatar?
Go to Settings and click the camera icon on your profile picture. Upload a new image — it will be resized to 128×128 pixels automatically.
Games
How do I play games?
Browse the Games page and click on any game to start playing. All games run directly in your browser — no downloads or plugins required.
Do games work on school PCs / low-end devices?
Yes! Gamplo enforces a strict 75 MB game size limit, so all games are designed to be lightweight and run on virtually any device with a modern browser. The performance depends on the game itself, but we encourage developers to optimize for accessibility and low-end hardware.
Can I play without an account?
Most games support guest play without an account. However, features like cloud saves, achievements, and friends require a Gamplo account.
How do I publish my own game?
Go to your Developer page and follow the instructions to upload your game. Games must be under 75 MB and run entirely in the browser.
Blips & Shop
What are Blips?
Blips are Gamplo's virtual currency. You can use them to purchase cosmetic items like avatar decorations, name colors, and other profile customizations from the Shop.
How do I earn Blips?
You earn free Blips by logging in daily (daily reward streak). You can also purchase Blips with real money.
Can I get a refund on Blips?
No. All Blips purchases are final and non-refundable. Blips have no real-world monetary value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
Can I hide my Blips balance?
Yes. Go to Settings → Activity and toggle “Show Blips balance” off. Your balance will be hidden from your profile.
Social & Communication
How do friends work?
You can send friend requests from any user's profile page. Once accepted, you can see each other's online status and activity. Manage your friends from the Friends page.
Can I appear offline?
Yes. Enable Ghost Mode in Settings → Activity. This hides your online status from other users, including friends.
How do I report a user or inappropriate content?
Use the report button on user profiles, games, or forum posts. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Automated moderation also filters inappropriate content in real time.
Privacy & Data
How do I download my data?
Go to Settings → Data and click “Download My Data”. You'll receive a JSON file containing all personal data we hold about you. This is instant and automatic — no waiting or manual review.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Danger Zone and click “Delete Account”. Type the confirmation phrase and your account, along with all associated data (profile, avatar, games, sessions, files), will be permanently and immediately deleted. This action cannot be undone.
What data does Gamplo collect?
We collect only what's needed to run the platform: your email, username, avatar, IP address (for security), play history, and any content you create (forum posts, chat messages, games). We do not use analytics or tracking cookies. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Does Gamplo use cookies?
Only one — a session cookie to keep you logged in. No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. That's it.
